Community participation

I enjoy volunteering my time to coach children in sports, specifically basketball and softball. I enjoy teaching these kids the skills of the game as well as the importance of being on a team. It is an extremely rewarding experience for me.

Interests

I was born and raised in La Verne, Ca. I come from an athletic family, and grew up playing basketball and softball. I decided to play college softball. I was the first player from Citrus College to go Division 1 and I ended up playing for the University of Central Arkansas. Years later, I am still an avid sports fan. My family is originally from Pittsburgh, so there is a lot of love to be had for the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. I try and stay active through Pilates and exercise. I enjoy spending time with my husband Mike and my daughter Olivia.
