Founding Director, Row for Hope

Row for Hope is a tiny cancer research charity that my brother, Paul, and I co-founded in memory of our mom. We created Row for Hope around one big goal -- his solo row across the Atlantic Ocean. Through that row, and the energy it inspired, we raised more than $100,000 for the melanoma program at Yale Cancer Center. Row for Hope isn't actively fundraising these days but remains among my proudest accomplishments.

Interests

I am a former college athlete (rowing) turned mom and ‘weekend warrior’. I love traveling, running (albeit slowly) and backyard bonfires. I will someday hike all 46 of the High Peaks in the Adirondacks of New York and run half marathons in each of the 50 states. Wish me luck! Meanwhile, most of my spare time is spent with my husband, our two daughters and our Goldendoodle, Kili(manjaro) -- she's named after the mountain, which I climbed in 2010.
