Community participation

I am proud to be engaged and involved in the business, social, and political communities around Aiken. I currently serve on the USC Aiken Business Advisory Council which works with the Dean of the School of Business Administration to ensure graduates are receiving job-ready skills. I also serve on the Aiken County Historical Commission which oversees the Aiken County Historical Museum. I was previously blessed to be elected to serve on the Aiken County Public School Board as the Trustee for District 2 in 2018 for a four-year term.

Interests

I love spending time with my wife, toddler daughter, and newborn son as well as working around my orchard and garden. I maintain a small flock of chickens and cultivate trees and fruiting plants that grow on our land. I enjoy being involved in the community via the Historic Commission, Sons of the American Legion, and other groups, and enjoy being part of the Area Leadership Team for the Christian Business Men's Connection. I enjoy a good hike or trail walk and occasionally get in a round of trap or skeet. When time permits, I enjoy traveling to places of historic significance and visiting extended family in the north Georgia mountains.
