Hello Clients & Guests,
Join us for our 4th annual virtual cooking class! This year, we are taking a trip to New Orleans with our guest instructor, Kyrsten Beidelman. Chef Kyrsten will be joining us again from HipCooks, a culinary school and kitchen store in Portland, OR. You may remember her from our Thai cooking class last year! Learn from her on this culinary adventure down to the south and apply that knowledge to create a delicious meal.
We will be preparing and celebrating one of New Orleans most popular dishes, Etouffee and Cornbread for smotherin’. Etouffee, a dish deeply rooted in the culinary traditions of Louisiana, is a flavorful and rich stew that has captivated tastebuds for generations. The name "Etouffee" comes from the French word for "smothered," which perfectly describes the cooking technique used to create this dish.
RSVP is required to receive the shopping list of ingredients you will need. Don’t feel like cooking? No problem! Mix up a cocktail/mocktail, follow along, and take notes so you can make it another time.
*Please note, there is some prep to be done prior to class.
**The optional paired drink is a festive Mojito, instructions included to prepare before class.
***We are not able to provide a recording of the event.
