We invite you and a guest to an evening featuring:
"A Writer in the Kitchen", presented by Beth Dooley, a Minneapolis-St. Paul Star Tribune Food Columnist Writer, Cookbook Author, James Beard Award Winner & Speaker.
Beth is a writer who cooks, a cook who writes. Food is the lens through which she views the world. For the past 40 years, she has covered our local food scenes for newspapers, magazines, radio, and TV, written cookbooks, and a collection of essays. She has worked with celebrated editors, chefs, visionaries, agronomists, farmers, researcher, and home cooks. Over the years she has witnessed dramatic changes in what we eat from ground up. In this presentation, she will identify culinary trends defining our future and share stories of the most innovative change makers. Cooking is simple, it needn’t be complicated, it is an act of showing up in the world, of caring for ourselves and others. If you’re hungry for hope, cooking is a good place to start!
