Community participation

Kimberly is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and currently serves on the Downtown Development Board for the City of Orlando and the Unity of Eatonville Federal Credit Union Board of Directors. Her past civic engagements include the UNCF Advisory Council, the Negro Spiritual Scholarship Foundation Board, and the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra Board. She believes that "too whom much is given, much is required." In 2022, Kimberly endowed the "Kimberly R. Stewart Endowed Scholarship in Support of Black Women" at her alma mater, the University of Central Florida.
