Russell Price, Chief Economist for Ameriprise Financial will kick off our session with his insights on today’s economic environment. Price is frequently quoted in The Associated Press, Fox Business, Bloomberg News, BusinessWeek and Reuters and has appeared in many other national media outlets. He has been cited by Bloomberg Financial as a “Bloomberg Best” for being one of the most accurate economic forecasters in their benchmark consensus survey.

Additionally, Tiffany Dyson, CFEI®, Sr. Investment Learning Consultant with Franklin Templeton Academy will present Emotions, Expectations, & Economics. We’ll discuss how fear, the media, and the urge to time the markets influence investors’ emotions. Additionally, we’ll explore investors’ expectations during bull markets and their predisposition to think, “This time it’s different.” We’ll also look at three types of investors and their market expectations and will end the session with a brief overview of U.S. economic history by touring the last eight decades.
