Why Fourteen Forty?

In January 2024 I joined Fourteen Forty Financial, an advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services. After spending almost 17 years at another brokerage firm I chose Fourteen Forty because of their collaborative approach, their emphasis on advice and planning, and their Purpose.

There are 1440 minutes in a day, and every day we all have the opportunity to choose how to spend them. At Fourteen Forty our mission is to help you make the most of your 1440 minutes today and throughout your life!

My path to this team was indirect, having worked in history, archaeology, aviation, and horticulture before landing in financial services. A series of crises with elderly parents led me to this work, and made me passionate about helping people with retirement and estate considerations.

I love this work because everyone’s situation is unique and it’s fun to collaborate and solve financial puzzles.

Why? Because by helping you stay focused and organized in your financial life, so that you feel more grounded, I can help you make the most of your 1440 minutes every day. Let’s get started!

Interests

When I'm not helping people achieve their financial goals, you can find me in the garden, on the trail or on the water, relaxing with family and friends. If it's raining, I'll be indoors cooking, reading, or learning something on PBS. I'm fond of games and sports in general, from darts down at the pub to baseball, golf, and English Premier League football. To further broaden my horizons I enjoy travel and sampling international cuisines, be it here in Maine or farther afield.
